Dr. Brian Webber is our Root Canal specialist. Dr. Webber has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years and is recognized by his peers and by patients as one of the best root canal specialists in New York. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious Columbia University. Following the internship at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, he continued his studies at Columbia to earn his Certificate of Specialization in Endodontics. Dr. Webber is a member of American Academy of Endodontics and published many articles in dental journals on the topic of how to make root canals as painless as possible. Dr. Webber was born and raised on Long Island, where he still resides with his wife. He likes to be involved in the local community and often can be found at a local High School interacting with students and mentoring young aspiring doctors and scientists. He loves to read books and travel with his family.
Dr. Matthew Hashimoto is our Periodontist and Implants specialist. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 2008. After completion of residency, Dr. Hashimoto went on to complete a Periodontics program at the prestigious Columbia University. Dr. Hashimoto specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease and in the placement of dental implants. He is an expert in the treatment of oral inflammation and is proficient in the latest techniques for treating all kinds of gum disease. Dr. Hashimoto often treats more problematic periodontal cases, such as those with severe gum disease or a complex medical history. He is an expert in a wide range of treatments, such as scaling and root planting (in which the infected surface of the root is cleaned) or root surface debridement (in which damaged tissue is removed). In addition, Dr. Hashimoto is one of the best doctors in New York in the placement, maintenance and repair of dental implants. In his spare time, Matthew is an accomplished singer and a very talented performer who can be heard and seen around New York City. Recently Matthew won the first place at a very spirited Amateur Night at the Apollo.
Dr. Larisa Tkach has been practicing dentistry for over 10 years. She is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, which is widely considered one of the top programs in the country. After graduating from NYU, she completed additional training at New York Cornell Hospital. She is a member of New York County Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry and she constantly continues to stay on top of the latest advances in dentistry. Dr. Tkach is well known for her excellence in all aspects of dental care, be it cosmetics, crowns & bridges, or surgery. She believes in providing our patients with a relaxed, comfortable environment and doing her best to make any procedures as painless as possible. Before beginning treatment, Dr. Tkach always tries to gain a complete understanding of what the patients’ wants and needs are. Simply put, she listens. She believes all of her patients deserve to be treated with the utmost respect and care on a consistent basis and she always wants to help them understand all of their options so that they can make an informed decision. When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Tkach enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
Dr. Mariam Wozniak is our periodontist, who focuses on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases that affect the gums. We are very lucky to have Dr. Wozniak in our office. She is definitely one of the best periodontists in all of New York. Dr. Wozniak is a graduate of the prestigious Tufts Dental School and Columbia Dental College and she earned a status of Diplomate in the American Board of Periodontology. Over the last 30 years, Dr. Wozniak has been treating dental patients with care and expertise. She is passionate about her job and is always at the forefront of the dental field with special techniques that she developed and perfected over the years for diagnosing and treating periodontal disease. Dr. Wozniak is very gentle and considerate and all our patients love her. In her spare time Dr. Wozniak enjoys sports, books and spending time with her family and friends.
